Active community involvement is a founding principle of First
Presbyterian Church. Here are just a few of the ways in which we contribute.
Rutherford Food Pantry
Our congregation actively donates to the Rutherford Food Pantry. Donations can be left in the baskets outside of the East Passaic street
entrance to the Chapel. Please remember that we can not accept expired food.
55 Kip Center
Our Church serves a meal at 55 Kip Center three times a year. We last served on Saturday, October 3, 2009
and are scheduled again on January 30th.
InterReligious Fellowship for the Homeless of Bergen County
(IRF)
Our Church opens its doors to IRF for use as an overflow shelter hosting, feeding and caring for those
who are facing difficulties. We also serve supper at the organization's Orchard Street walk-in center.
